ivtv-utils searches the kernel for CONFIG_KMOD, which does not exist in my 2.6.29-gentoo-r1 .config (so I'm assuming that it doesn't exist for anyone...I'm sorry if I'm wrong here).

Probably needs to check for either CONFIG_KMOD or CONFIG_MODULE
