Which version of x11-drivers/xf86-video-ati is installed? (In reply to comment #2) > Which version of x11-drivers/xf86-video-ati is installed? > x11-drivers/xf86-video-ati-6.12.2 I tried rebuilding it but it didn't help. Anyway wouldn't it be wiser to use the existing files in the mesa tree by making a symlink from r200 to ../radeon/radeon_screen.h? please don't be mad at me for asking... I'm not trying to be smart, just trying to find a solution. i would more ask about libdrm version (In reply to comment #4) > i would more ask about libdrm version > x11-libs/libdrm-2.4.6 Bumped 7.4.1-r1. Does it still hate you? :] This looks like like a paralel build issue, I was actualy emerging mesa-7.4.1-r1 when I encountered this, and the second time I tried it didn't happen. mesa-7.4.1-r1 build log
Crap, i had the feeling it will be paralel issue :( I am on x11 alias too and i hate getting double emails :] yes still happens, at least now I know it's a parallel build issue so I can work around it Erm, fixing that is harder than it seems at first glance (meaning: I failed). Please file a bug in FreeDesktop's bugzilla with all the information posted here (especially the build.log) and paste the url here so we can track it. Thanks Someone please open a bug in FreeDesktop's bugzilla and paste the url here. Thanks is there any solution to this bug or something? as i can see the video card which we want to use properly is radeon xpress 200m ? am i correct? i have the same and using ubuntu 9.04, maybe these answers will help me using 3D on my laptop (In reply to comment #14) > is there any solution to this bug or something? > as i can see the video card which we want to use properly is radeon xpress 200m > ? > am i correct? > i have the same and using ubuntu 9.04, maybe these answers will help me using > 3D on my laptop > Hack root@minemachine: MAKEOPTS="-j1" emerge mesa Cheers Again, a bug needs to be opened in FreeDesktop's bugzilla. Could *anyone* do this? Thanks (In reply to comment #15) > (In reply to comment #14) > > is there any solution to this bug or something? > > as i can see the video card which we want to use properly is radeon xpress 200m > > ? > > am i correct? > > i have the same and using ubuntu 9.04, maybe these answers will help me using > > 3D on my laptop > > > > Hack > root@minemachine: MAKEOPTS="-j1" emerge mesa > > Cheers > what is that? bump. We are at mesa-7.5.2 now, 7.5.1 being stable, and it still fails on parallel build. Maybe the ebuild should enforce non-parallel build from now on? Created attachment 213735 [details]
