Several segfaults, memory corruptions and leaks fixed in 1.6.3 over 1.6.0. 1.6.0, .1 and .2 is definately not recommended for production use. well for now i guess you can just rename the ebuild file to pecl-http-1.6.5.ebuild in a portage overlay also since version 1.6.0 fails to compile on my system (php-5.3 ebuild from bug 274512), the severity of this should be "major" (complete loss of function). renaming the ebuild to 1.6.5 resulted in a successful compile and the http functions i use work. 1.6.6 is out now I've just added pecl-http-1.6.6 to the tree. Upstream "requires" all those extensions that the ebuild mentions as "optional". I haven't had a look at the source code. Can somebody tell me if they are really optional? If so, i'll drop the deps on the current ebuild. |
