don't touch fields you don't know the effect of, thanks. Btw, I tried removing ppp support in my effort on bug #263397 and it prooved to be deeply intricated in current code (or at least too much for the spare time I had on it). I am aware that this is certainly not your fault - I just couldn't believe the nm devs were insane enough to make ppp stuff mandatory for nm and assumed just some USE flag was mising - sorry for that. I'll try to look into it, maybe there is a way to get rid of the dependency or make it optional, otherwise upstream needs to get contacted. Okay, so nm has a 'ppp-manager' module, and this could be compiled conditionally - of course there are some changes in the source needed too. Unfortunately I am not able to compile networkmanager manually as in doing a configure & make after unpacking the source ... Just fixed by upstream :-D This is fixed already |
