Vladimir, Please do not add arch teams to bugs. Thanks.

By the way, consider adding your ebuild to the sunrise overlay: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/sunrise/

I just spotted this old bug.

Do we want to add a live ebuild for v8?

It would be helpful for the chromium-9999 users who have USE="system-v8" (myself included). For now I am manually bumping v8 in an overlay anytime chromium upstream does a bump.

Yes, a live ebuild would be useful. I'm using chromium-9999 with system-v8 and I have to manually bump v8 too in a personal overlay.

Could you submit an updated live ebuild based on the latest dev-lang/v8 ebuilds?

Live ebuild works for me except I have had to add ~amd64 keyword (don't know how to unmask package masked by missing keyword with no keyword.
Comment 12 Paweł Hajdan, Jr. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-12-14 16:10:05 UTC
The ebuild is now in the tree (dev-lang/v8-9999). Thanks!
