This documentation doesn't work any more. Bash requires ncurses, which breaks in the absence of scanmacho, from pax-utils. Emerging bash with --nodeps fixes the problem.

Maybe pax-utils should be installed early, regardless?

refresh the document, fix already committed.

You'll probably hit a problem or two, so you better way another day such that I can use a tarball with includes a fix.
