If I start as user with

qstardict
Segmentation fault

but if I start as root

qstardict
save to cache /usr/share/stardict/dic/stardict-thesaurus-ee-2.4.2/thesaurus-ee.idx
save to cache /usr/share/stardict/dic/stardict-freedict-eng-cro-2.4.2/dictd_www.freedict.de_eng-cro.idx
save to cache /usr/share/stardict/dic/stardict-freedict-cze-eng-2.4.2/dictd_www.freedict.de_cze-eng.idx
save to cache /usr/share/stardict/dic/stardict-wikipedia-dewikibooks-2.4.2/wikipedia-dewikibooks-20071023.idx
save to cache /usr/share/stardict/dic/stardict-wikipedia-enwikiquote-2.4.2/wikipedia-enwikiquote-20071114.idx
....

This make cache files in
/usr/share/stardict/*/*.idx.oft

Now I can use as user qstardict, but if I delete with

cd /usr/share/stardict
find -name '*.idx.oft' -exec rm -f {} \;

I can't use more as user qstardict

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:  
Segmentation fault

Expected Results:  
normal make the cache files and good start

This package is not from the official portage-tree. Please post your "emerge --info" and tell us to which overlay this package belongs.

Reopen this bug when you provide the requested information.
