the ebuild
new ebuild for wakkawiki 0.1.2. renamed software from wakka to wakkawiki.
Seeing as I'm looking at wiki engines anyway this week, I'll find a few spare moments to look at this one too. Best regards, Stu works fine mostly :) - i like the clean style of this one one thing though - the trailing-slash-problem got me a while. perhaps a small note in the last einfo line would help "with (!) the trailing slash" or something like that. i tried it on different boxes and one one i had mysql installed but mod_php had the mysql useflag not enabled. wakka then complains rather unhelpfully that it cannot call some function. i guess this should be covered by the code itself, but if thought it's nice to have this info here in case someone else runs into this issue. and according to the website, there will be a cvs (subversion) version of the development code available by monday, 20.10.2003. might be interesting with all the mods and hacks and workarounds posted on the page already... http://www.wakkawiki.com/WakkaSubversion Re-assigning to the web-apps herd, as I haven't had chance to look at this yet (sorry). Stu This spams my buglist.. :) Created attachment 25921 [details]

new ebuild, will use web-apps and $HTTPD_ROOT.
Hi, Sorry for the delay in replying. We've been very busy putting a new framework in place for ebuilds for web-based applications. This has now been added to Portage. We need you to update your ebuild to use the new framework before we can accept your ebuild. Please emerge net-www/webapp-config (make sure you get version 1.2 or later), and update your ebuild to work with this new tool. You can use 'man 5 webapp.eclass', 'man 5 webapp-config' and 'man 8 webapp-config' to learn more about how your ebuild needs to work. You can find an example ebuild, for phpmyadmin, in /usr/share/doc/webapp-config-1.2/ If you encounter any difficulties with the new framework (and we apologise, but there are sure to be a few at first), please let us know and we'll do our best to help you. Best regards, Stu Development on this project appears to have been suspended: http://www.wakkawiki.de/WakkaWiki There is a subversion repository that appears to have code in it, but the link to the current tar ball is dead. I think the status should be changed accordingly. unmaintained software upstream, and other alternatives available in Portage: closing it now. |
