The file xmms-1.2.7-r24.ebuild that I emerged (KDE dependency ?) today was
broken at line 12:

( mmx? || 3dnow? ) ( http://members. ....

when it should be:

( mmx?||3dnow? ) ( http://members. ....

Note the lack of spaces between the '||' operator and the unary variables.
After fixing this file everything emerged fine.
