I was able to get past the block with the following in 'package.keywords' dev-python/gnome-python-desktop ~ppc64 I really don't think I should be required to go with ~ppc64 to update gnome-base/gnome stable. After this update, I ran into another problem. When I used revdep-rebuild, I ran into the problem described in bug 245407. I had to keyword gnome-base/gnome-control-center-2.24.0.1.ebuild ~ppc64 to revdep-rebuild. gnome-control-center-2.22.2.1.ebuild required `gnome_bg_set_uri'. Greg - ran our QA tool against the CVS tree and cannot replicate the problems you are seeing. Both gnome-base and gnome/ check out without any errors. I'm not sure how to respond to this. I generally hang out on #gentoo-powerpc and would be happy to discuss with you. Greg, it has been nearly a month; I don't see any issues, can we close? With the upgrade of xorg(In reply to comment #2) > I had to keyword > gnome-base/gnome-control-center-2.24.0.1.ebuild ~ppc64 to revdep-rebuild. All required packages are 'ppc64' now, so this can be closed. ok, thanks all. |
