Description Tobias Leupold 2009-03-03 11:37:10 UTC
kde-base/kdelibs pulls app-text/enchant when USE="spell" is used, which itself pulls app-text/hunspell. When using another locale than English, the spell checking does not work, as a proper myspell dictionary has to be installed for it.
I think this should be done by kde-base/kde-l10n. It should also have a "spell" USE flag and than pull app-dicts/myspell-* according to the chosen locale.

Reproducible: Always

actually it's hunspell that should be pulling a myspell dictionary.

And to make this happen we need arm and sh coverage on myspell- dicts... Bug filled.

This issue is fixed in hunspell-1.2.9.
