I have reproduced this behavior on the following models of Dell Computers:

OptiPlex GX240
OptiPlex GX270
Latitude C800

Each of these has integrated NIC.  3Com 3c90x (GX240) 3Com 3c59x (Latitude) 
Intel Pro/1000 (GX270)

Also hangs console on attempt to execute dhcpd eth0.

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
