Currently, the PATCH_VER variable in the ebuild is set to '5' which causes the ebuild to look for a file named glibc-2.9-patches-5.tar.bz2 which doesn't exist on any mirrors.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge --sync 
2. unmask sys-libs/glibc-2.9_p20081201-r2
3. emerge glibc

it shouldnt be ver 5 yet
