X.org log
Maybe you could try with (still masked) xf86-video-intel-2.6.2 and, if still valid, send a bug to upstream: bugs.freedesktop.org 2.6.2 is the same. Filed a bug upstream: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20406 As read in http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20406 , seems that "XAA" is no longer developed, maybe this could be added to ebuild as "elog" messages suggesting people to try to use EXA or UXA instead of XAA and report problems with supported methods I guess this is not needed, as EXA is the default - one needs to select XAA explicitly in the X.org config. Not much I can do here. XAA is no longer the default since 2.3 or 2.4. And I think adding an elog message for that is useless. Gentoo users should know what they're doing when they're messing with their xorg.conf. Upstream is working hard to make all those tricks disappear for good, I see no need to change anything on our side. Thanks |
