I have net-misc/openssh-5.2_p1-r1 install on my AMD64 notebook and it works smoothly!

I emerged it  with  USE="X X509 hpn libedit tcpd -kerberos -ldap -pam -pkcs11 (-selinux) -skey -smartcard -static"

everything I tested works (client, server, scp ssh-keygen)

i am very happy!

Good to know that it works for you but what is the bug/new feature that this bug is supposed to accomplish?
