have you always used a no multilib profile ? you havent flipped between hardened ones or multilib ones have you ? I have never used a different profile on this machine. I set up no-multilib during installation. Since the original try I again tried to emerge it again every now and then. For some reason it showed a different error each time. I now remembered that the filesystem that I am trying on (JFS) is kind of special, so I now tried to set PORTAGE_TMP on an ext3. And glibc emerged without problems. I guess this makes this bug invalid. |
