Bug 259352 – sci-misc/boinc-6.4.5-r1 - libcudart.so not installed

Emerging from the new sci-misc/boinc-6.4.5-r1 does not install libcudart.so into the customary directory (on my system: /var/lib/boinc/).  Following suggestions at http://www.gpugrid.net/forum_thread.php?id=592, I copied the file to /var/lib/boinc/ and the manager appears to find it.  

My system is still not running again after emerging the new ebuild, but this appears to be a different problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge new sci-misc/boinc-6.4.5-r1
2. start the daemon (on gentoo running /etc/init.d/boinc start)
3. the error log reports "Can't load library libcudart"
Actual Results:  
the error log reports "Can't load library libcudart"

Expected Results:  
everything running like before

It shouldn't install .so files to /var/lib at all. :)

It is also not instaling them :]
The cuda is detected and worked with by initscript :]
And it creates symlink as needed.

See the cuda_check function in its initscript for usage :]
And you should do etc-update if you dont have such.

I thought this was connected to the bum patch that I had to hack, and you both are correct.
