The same with media-libs/t1lib-5.0.2-r1 The same under 32bit. The correct error-message: "This is pdfTeXk, Version 3.1415926-1.40.9 (Web2C 7.5.7) ... /var/lib/texmf/web2c/pdftex/latex.fmt doesn't match pdftex.pool (Fatal format file error; I'm stymied)" greetz Lars The build scripts are broken in the same way as in perl (see bug 265164). I suggest the herd to send this bug upstream, because the only way to fix is by editing all the Makefiles in the package. For now (and if upstream doesn't want to fix it) I suggest to disable parallel building to suppress the errors. Cannot reproduce this with media-libs/t1lib-5.1.2. Hence closing this bug. Mr. Anderson, it looks like something broken with your setup since this error is perfectly reproducible. Sorry for that one and thanks for your heads up. It was my fault. I checked for parallel build issues with MAKEOPTS="-j". However, the warning will not appear if the number of jobs is not limited. Same with t1lib-5.1.2-r1. |
