This happen on all UTF-8 based encoding. Actually on Russian I have same problem with net-im/psi-0.12. PyQt4-based apps unaffected. You can always inform directly upstream by filling this form http://www.qtsoftware.com/bugreport-form I would do it but i am not using polish or russian layouts so I am not able to describe the problem in details So , fill an upstream task. They might not be aware of this :) OK, I found patch for psi, see bug #258992 Still valid with qt-4.5.0? Re-open if this problem is still valid using the latest 4.5.0 packages I haven't seen this in a long time now. It's either fixed, or all affected apps have been patched up. |
