Bug 258633 – [kde-testing] app-office/krita-1.9.98.[5|6] does not build with media-gfx/exiv2-0.18

Trying to build either of app-office/krita-1.9.98.[5|6] with media-gfx/exiv2-0.18 fails with the following error:

Reports at kde.org indicated that there is an API/ABI change with exiv2-0.18, so I masked this version and rebuilt exiv2 and krita. This succeeded.

It would appear that krita-1.9.98.* should DEPEND on <media-gfx/exiv2-0.18

OK, I understand.

At least there is a workaround:

echo '>=media-gfx/exiv2-0.18' >> /etc/portage/package.mask/package.mask

for those users who don't need exiv2-0.18
