Please try, with fresh kernel sources, to recompile your kernel, eselect kernel set <kernel> and retry. This sounds like weirdish kernel-sources issue. Re-open if appropriate. This did fix my issue. I suppose this was a problem with trying to rebuild a kernel previously built with prior version of glibc. If this is the case, some discussion on this topic in the emerge notes for the glibc package would be helpful. |
