ccc.patch
proposed (and untested) patch
openssh doesnt actually use it. it's left over from much older ebuilds. We don't support building with ccc anymore and as far as I can tell, no ebuild has "inherit ccc", so it's not in use currently. However, some users have expressed interest in making ccc work again, so it might come in handy. I'm leaning towards fixing it with maekkes patch. If the reactivation efforts runs aground, we can still nuke it entirely. I'd also defer testing it until then since any testing right now is kinda "in the air". Any objections? So we can punt it. eclass has been deprecated |
