The text display of Konsole 4.2.0 is broken when colors are involved: On each color change, a bit of text is cut off.

Hmm, somehow a non-existing font was set in Konsole, being replaced with a proportional one, and that broke it ...

Monospace works ...

Hi, this is due to missing fonts. Just pick in configuration some other nice font that will fit your needs.
We wont fix it by default, cause people tend to differ about what is nice font :]
