This QA Notice seems to be not specific to kdiff3. It appears in many KDE3 packages like app-editors/kile-2.0.2 and media-sound/amarok-{1.40-r1,_p20090130-r1}), and is probably caused by kde.eclass as stated in bug #230761. bug #233427 kde-base/kdelibs seems to also come from kde.eclass (kde-base/librss-3.5.10 also complains about --without-debug) This is the notice I get: * QA Notice: Unrecognized configure options: * * configure: WARNING: unrecognized options: --with-x, --enable-mitshm, --with-xinerama, --without-debug * configure: WARNING: unrecognized options: --with-x, --enable-mitshm, --with-xinerama, --without-debug I am also getting the exact same warnings with the following packages: kstart kmenuedit ksnapshot khexedit kde*-kfile-plugins ... This really seems to be a problem with the kde.eclass. I noticed this while recompiling half kde for USE="+xinerama". Could this mean that the xinerama USE-flag for all kde-packages is obsolete? no problem with xinerama or anything. ignore those warnings, we won't fix this as it is too much work for nothing. everyhing works ok |
