Only joomla-1.5.8 is installed: server lib # eix joomla [U] www-apps/joomla Available versions: (1.5.8) {M}(~)1.5.8 (1.5.9) {M}(~)1.5.9!m[1] {vhosts} Installed versions: 1.5.8(1.5.8)(18:51:54 18/01/09)(-vhosts) Homepage: http://www.joomla.org/ Description: Joomla is a powerful Open Source Content Management System. [1] /usr/local/portage But webapp-config thinks joomla-1.5.7 is installed on /var/www/localhost/htdocs: server lib # webapp-config -I joomla 1.5.8 * Fatal error: Package joomla-1.5.7 is already installed here. * Fatal error: Use webapp-config -C to uninstall it first. * Fatal error: Install directory already contains a web application! * Fatal error(s) - aborting The following appeared to resolved: webapp-config -C -d joomla joomla 1.5.7 webapp-config -I -d joomla joomla 1.5.8 I believe emerge -auv =www-apps/joomla-1.5.8 should have taken care of this automatically I assume that's app-admin/webapp-config-1.50.16-r1. Can you retry with -r3 of webapp-config? Believe it was app-admin/webapp-config-1.50.16-r1 (sorry for not replying to this point earlier). Bit reluctant to experiment with -r3 given what happened before. I don't have a backup site/machine that I can use for testing. Can any other watchers help? Of course, I used the latest verions of joomla in the tree 1.5.25 and 1.7.3 www-apps/joomla selected: 1.5.25 protected: none omitted: 1.7.3 |
