$ qpkg -f /usr/bin/ctags 
app-editors/emacs-21.1-r4 *
app-editors/emacs-21.2 *
dev-util/ctags-5.0.1 *

and to make it work with vim, I must remerge ctags after doing
a version up of emacs. Somehow noisy.

resolved for dev-util/ctags-5.2.3.ebuild. thanks for the contribution!

look for /usr/bin/exuberant-ctags and a similar man page
