Here ist the build.log
Version of app-arch/libarchive ? i have 2.6.2 and have no issues. erm 2.6.1 :] not 2.6.2... I have also 2.6.1. Darn, in that case i have no idea what is missing. Hope others will. I have the compilation problem only with libarchive version 2.6.0 and 2.6.1. It works for me with libarchive-2.5.5. Downgrading libarchive to version 2.5.5 worked for me as well. (In reply to comment #7) > I have the compilation problem only with libarchive version 2.6.0 and 2.6.1. > It works for me with libarchive-2.5.5. > Same here. Only libarchive-2.5.5 seems to work with ark. Not a libarchive verison issue. Libarchive needs to have the 'zlib' USE flag enabled for ark to compile successfully against it (if 'archive' USE flag is enabled for ark). So there needs to be a check in ark's ebuild if 'archive' USE flag is enabled, to see if libarchive has been built with 'zlib' USE enabled. Great, tested and works, added to 4.2.1 and live ebuilds, where 4.2.1 goes to the tree next week, so sit tight :] |
