gmine 2.2.23 do not even start do compile, it fails on the automake stage

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge gmime
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
It aborts with "Failed running automake!"

Expected Results:  
The package should install.
