This bug should be marked as duplicate of bug #256265
ebuilds are already commited on jokey's overlay[1]
(01/23/09).

hello, just a question.
i use tap for create a virtual interface. in that configuration module vboxnetflt are necessary. are not necessary add that in virtualbox-modules?

That module is also needed to be able to use Host Interface networking, so please add the building of that kernel module to virtualbox-modules.

yes it is since 2.1.0 release

*already done* in both 2.1.0 and 2.1.2 release, please read comment #4

virtualbox-ose has a dependence on libcap:

Checking for libcap library: 
  libcap not found at -lcap or libcap headers not found

This causes emerge to abort during the configure step. After emerging libcap, installation of virtualbox-ose proceeded correctly.

2.1.4 is in the tree
