ebuild for virtualbox-modules-2.1.2
(In reply to comment #0) > VirtualBox 2.1.2 has been released. > This bug should be marked as duplicate of bug #256265 ebuilds are already commited on jokey's overlay[1] (01/23/09). [1] http://overlays.gentoo.org/dev/jokey hello, just a question. i use tap for create a virtual interface. in that configuration module vboxnetflt are necessary. are not necessary add that in virtualbox-modules? (In reply to comment #5) > hello, just a question. > i use tap for create a virtual interface. in that configuration module > vboxnetflt are necessary. are not necessary add that in virtualbox-modules? That module is also needed to be able to use Host Interface networking, so please add the building of that kernel module to virtualbox-modules. (In reply to comment #6) > That module is also needed to be able to use Host Interface networking, yes it is since 2.1.0 release > so please add the building of that kernel module to virtualbox-modules. *already done* in both 2.1.0 and 2.1.2 release, please read comment #4 and refer to bug #256265 Thanks! virtualbox-ose has a dependence on libcap: Checking for libcap library: libcap not found at -lcap or libcap headers not found This causes emerge to abort during the configure step. After emerging libcap, installation of virtualbox-ose proceeded correctly. Duplicate of bug #251335 ? 2.1.4 is in the tree |
