patches btg 0.9.7 for gcc43
Hopefully patches btg-0.9.7 to compile with gcc43, at least works for me.
Looking like a regular gcc43 issue I'd imagine this is not amd64-specific but also present on other platforms. I also wonder if btg-0.9.7 is important enough piece of software to warrant a blocker against bug #198121 ? I tested the patch and now the build succeeds. I filed the bugreport against AMD64, because that's the system I use and didn't test it on any other system. So if this patch gets added to the repository we can close this bug. I think this bug should block 198121 because that's what they want. (In reply to comment #3) > I filed the bugreport against AMD64, because that's the system I use and > didn't test it on any other system. Sorry, I didn't mean my earlier short comment as criticism of the submitted report, it was meant more as a new observation in addition to the original knowledge. Your original report was very good, with all the information necessary and known at filing time -- and no clutter. If only all submissions came with sufficient information like this one. :) + 16 Feb 2009; Peter Alfredsen <loki_val@gentoo.org> + +files/btg-0.9.7-gcc43.patch, btg-0.9.7.ebuild: + Add gcc-4.3 patch per bug 255604.
