Trying to emerge quake4-data results in a rather silly break. Not quite sure how an ebuild can be broken in this way as I would think it's something anyone would notice.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge quake4-bin (which in turn emerges quake4-data)

base.eclass has stupid default functions

Changed base.eclass to avoid passing empty $A to unpack.  Resync and try it again.
