New version of angband is out. I've been trying to create an ebuild but have got stuck. I've modified the patch, although it would probably be better replaced with a regex. Many gameplay changes. The build process has modified slightly and no longer requires a system-wide savefile, and in fact is disallowed when building a GTK GUI. My ebuild fails at QA but I attach as a starting point.
