When using e.g. "Download Link" or "Save Link as" from the context menu, epiphany crashes with the following error message:

vglauche@nz23041 ~ $ epiphany 
epiphany: cairo.c:87: _cairo_error: Assertion `(status != CAIRO_STATUS_SUCCESS && status <= CAIRO_STATUS_INVALID_WEIGHT)' failed.

This might be cairo related (see e.g. bug #250159).

I think this is a dupe of bug 250159

you can try to apply patch in its comment #13
