html2text initially has no support for UTF-8, but there is a patch for html2text-1.3.2a which enables support for UTF-8 input and output at > http://www.mbayer.de/html2text/downloads/patch-utf8-html2text-1.3.2a.diff Though I haven't looked into the code, it appears to be working nicely. It would be nice if it were included in the portage database. Reproducible: Always
