Can you please paste the actual error that happens above the error message? This is an error:
>>> Unpacking pyxf86config-0.3.34-1.fc8.src.rpm to /var/tmp/portage/dev-python/pyxf86config-0.3.34-r1/work
/var/tmp/portage/dev-python/pyxf86config-0.3.34-r1/temp/environment: line 2827: cpio: command not found
After emerging app-arch/cpio all is ok - so there is just an forgotten dependency in this ebuild...
!!! 'app-arch/cpio' is part of your system profile. !!! Unmerging it may be damaging to your system. How did you not have cpio? It should be installed by default Hm... Possibly I remove it much earlier when I have a blocking of e2fsprogs-1.41.2 by e2fsprogs-1.40.9 and some other packages... But in /var/log/emerge.log there is no mentions about unmerging this package. Strange... resolving bug then, not an issue. |
