The ebuild: /usr/portage/dev-python/pyPdf/pyPdf-1.12.ebuild

should read:

SRC_URI="http://pybrary.net/${PN}/${P}.tar.gz"

instead of:
SRC_URI="http://pybrary.net/${P}.tar.gz"
