On http://dri.sourceforge.net/ exists new drivers for Radeon R200 chipsets.
Would you include these drivers in the Gentoo? 

Drivers from this URL contains new kernel modules and new xfree modules. 
Maybe, xfree-drm may use _these_ sources?

We use the kernel module from cvs snapshots of dri.sf.net already. The most recent snapshot is from July 14. In order to use their drivers in addition, it is necessary to build the entire xfree tree from dri.sf.net so we don't. Also, the dri.sf.net stuff is synced with xfree86 regularly during development, so if you want the most recent drivers, use xfree-4.3.99.8 (masked in portage tree).
