Description Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2009-01-05 13:08:50 UTC
When I run:
# emerge -av mlocate --debug

I get:
myaction None
myopts {'--debug': True, '--ask': True, '--verbose': True}

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies
      Arg: mlocate
     Atom: sys-apps/mlocate
   ebuild: sys-apps/mlocate-0.21.1

Parent: ('ebuild', '/', 'sys-apps/mlocate-0.21.1', 'merge')
Depstring: !sys-apps/slocate !sys-apps/rlocate
Priority: medium
Candidates: ['!sys-apps/slocate', '!sys-apps/rlocate']
Exiting... ('ebuild', '/', 'sys-apps/mlocate-0.21.1', 'merge')

digraph:

mlocate depends on
  ('ebuild', '/', 'sys-apps/mlocate-0.21.1', 'merge') (soft)
('ebuild', '/', 'sys-apps/mlocate-0.21.1', 'merge') depends on
  ('installed', '/', 'sys-apps/slocate-3.1-r1', 'uninstall') (hard)
('installed', '/', 'sys-apps/slocate-3.1-r1', 'uninstall') (no children)

... done!

It is correct behavior when the blocked package uses EAPI={0,1} or the blocking package is in @world set.
