Have you tried the pcmcia-cs 3.1.31 ebuild? That may be what is on the CD. I just tried the downgrade, and I had the exact same result. Incidentally, I double checked the version of pcmcia-cs on the cd: insmod pcmcia_core Linux PCMCIA Card Services 3.1.33 cardmgr -V cardmgr version 3.1.33 What release it is, I have no idea... What is the status of this problem? Have the new pcmcia-cs versions cleared it up? What about the io address fix needed for some Dell laptops? The card works with the new cs package, but I still cannot get the net.ethx scripts working. I have to manually add the IP and route commands... okay, closing then. Feel free to drop me a mail about the other problem |
