Bug 252856 – sys-devel/gcc-4.1.2: emerge fails after changing multilibness of profile

After upgrading profile from "default/linux/amd64/2007.0" to
"default/linux/amd64/2008.0" or " default/linux/amd64/2008.0/no-multilib" 
"emerge -e system" fails when building "sys-devel/gcc-4.1.2".

"emerge sys-devel/gcc" also fails

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. "eselect profile set 8"
2. "emerge -e system"
or 
2a. "emerge gcc"

I'm fairly certain that you cannot switch between normal and no-multilib profiles on a whim. Assigning to maintainers for review.

correct, that is not a supported operation
