This change would save 23,6KiB in filesize, or 5,0KiB when compressed as tar.bz2 In comparison to the 120+MiB size of the full freedroidRPG tar.bz2, isn't this below trivial in nature? We are talking about a 0.004% size reduction... That's not the point at all. There are many issues related to embedded libraries, like security issues, size IN MEMORY (which is very different from whatever the source code size is), and other similar issue. Well, the in memory issue Im not sure I agree on. An RPG isnt something you would run in the background and/or use together with many other software at the same time. It likely takes 100% of the user attention (running) or 0% (not running). But sure, the potential security issue could be relevant. Fixed, thanks. |
The files src/SDL_rotozoom.{c,h} come out of SDL_gfx. Maybe it's possible to get it to use the system copy instead?
