Description Zach Bagnall 2003-07-23 23:14:28 UTC
This updated ebuild checks for SSL if set in $USE.
SSL support allows you to access HTTPS DAV resources.

Other tweaks:

- trivial correction to $HOMEPAGE

- die if configure fails

- changed wording on post-install text to remove requirement for "compiled in"
coda support

Bug-wranglers,

davfs2 is a kernel module. msterret was the last person to touch this.
Can you re-assign please?

Thanks,
Stu

To my knowledge, davfs2 is not itself a kernel module - it's some glue between
the Coda module and neon (for davfs access). See the homepage for details.

This updated ebuild just exposes the --with-ssl option. A large proportion
of davfs servers use https instead of plain http in order to encrypt the
traffic, so SSL support in the davfs client is important I think.
