(In reply to comment #0) > Why isn't 2.5.25-r9 marked as stable on AMD64? vmware-modules 1.0.0.15 will not > compile with newer gentoo-sources 2.6.26+. Please mark 2.5.25-r9 as stable, > thanks. 2.6.27 stabilisation plans are in the works. Sticking to an older version is not the solution to your problem. Is there a bug report that details the vmware-modules problem? (In reply to comment #1) > 2.6.27 stabilisation plans are in the works. It's probably http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=227303 Sorry, we don't support kernels older than 2.6.26 at the moment. Your problem is a bug in vmware-modules, not in the kernel. It should be addressed by the vmware-modules maintainers. |
