Description Daniel Pielmeier gentoo-dev 2008-12-16 19:01:13 UTC
When I restart the alsasound init script the desktop theme is set to raleigh. To get the original theme (xfce-cadmium) back I need to open the xfce-settings-manager and the theme switches back to the old one.

This happens under Xfce.

I will add two short clips to demonstrate this behavior.

This is a duplicate.. of ancient bug, happens with all alsa versions, since Xfce 4.2. I bet you have xfce4-mixer in panel or some app using ALSA open when you are restarting it?

FYI, the new Xfce4-mixer planned for 4.6 is going to use gstreamer, this bug might just go away with it.
