gputils SVN revision 551 fixes a rather serious bug documented here <http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1988473&group_id=41924&atid=431665>. Gentoo bug #224719 (already fixed in Portage with a patch) reports half of the problems, but doesn't fix the hang I also reported in the upstream bug. Is there any chance of getting a patch for the hang into Portage?

Ah, don't bother with this. Upstream hasn't actually fixed *all* the problems related to odd-numbered addresses yet.
