After upgrade net-fs/openafs[-kernel]-1.4.7 to version 1.4.8 the command vos release root.cell failed with following output: # vos release root.cell -verbose -localauth root.cell RWrite: 536870915 ROnly: 536870916 number of sites -> 3 ::: This is a complete release of volume 536870915 Cloning RW volume 536870915 to temporary RO...Failed to clone the RW volume 536870915 : Invalid cross-device link Error in vos release command. : Invalid cross-device link After return/downgrade to version openafs-[server]-1.4.7 the command vos release root.cell works without errors again.
