Description Chuck Brewer 2003-07-21 20:54:56 UTC
I've mentioned this before but its been overlooked. Can we surpress module and
other intitscript output or direct it to a file instead? eg modprobe on new apm,
fsck, kjournald from ext3 fs's etc.hard to track proper bootup with all the
extraneous info.thanks

most stuff is suppressed now

anything that isnt (for example, the 'Adding <blah> swap on on <blah>.'), we cant handle because the kernel is outputting that, and in the early stages of boot, the system logger isnt running so the kernel outputs it to the console
