Xmame has been updated to 0.71.1.  You may need to apply the attached patch to
get it to compile (fixes a typo and comments out a redefinition).  Seems to work
ok for me.  Thanks in advance.

0.71.1 has been in portage for about 1.5 weeks now

whoops my mistake, i read .71. as .70. (which has been in for 1.5 weeks) :)

Feel free to also bump advancemame to .71 if you get the urge.  Seems to compile fine version bumped, but I did little (read as: compiled once) testing.

xmame 0.71.1 ebuild

Bumped 0.71.1 ebuild with extra patch line.  Not sure if glx patch is still
necessary or not, but it still patches ok so I've left it.  I've had no
problems with it still in.
