This is a duplicate of an existing bug http://bugs.gentoo.org/229527 which is closed but the problem is still there ..

I've applied the patch and it worked quite well.

It wasn't fixed in 2.43, but in 2.46 - the current testing versions are >=2.48 so please try those.
