Description Peter Sterk 2008-11-28 11:40:04 UTC
KTechlab hasn't had any new release tarballs for a good while, however, development is still somewhat ongoing in the SVN trunk. The live version has quite a few new features such as JFETs/MOSFETs and animated wires.

Here is an ebuild for the SVN version.

a few QA suggestions:
fix copyright year :D
cleanup cvs log from $Header
remove SRC_URI (not needed for live ebuilds)
remove keywords from KEYWORDS variable (never keyword live ebuilds, they are always unstable)
use http://svn.sourceforge...... instead of https://${PN}.... (no validation will be then required)
Also, give a try to slot it. KDE Herd plans to change kde-3 eclass to auto-slot all kde misc packages in order to reduce kde3/4 bugs, but since it is not ready yet....
Comment 3 Denis Dupeyron (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-11-28 18:11:52 UTC
Live ebuilds are only added when absolutely necessary and certain conditions are met. A much better alternative is contacting upstream and have them make a release instead.

Denis.
